June 15, 2007 & June 22, 2007 Celebration

Today we had our graduation at Interim House. At the graduation we celebrated our clients who completed both residential (6 months) and outpatient programs (6 months). It was a very special morning, followed by lunch, and then, of course, our knitting group. There is a lot of knitting going on here as you can see from the projects that I have photographed. But there are so many more projects that get completed throughout the week.

Thanks to everyone who writes to us on the blog and by mail. The women are so interested in hearing about how knitting helps others!

Flip flop fun fur embellishments are "in" right now.
She finished it!
That's me in the red with Tamela Luce from Womens Way who was visiting here today. She stopped by during our knitting group as she visited with Kathy Wellbank.

More of the very cool fun fur flip flops that Lucia taught our ladies how to make.

Look at all of the beautiful yarns we receive combined in these projects!
Our client designed this poncho herself.
This is a knitted blanket with all shades of brown.
This client has a way of combining bright colors in such a beautiful way.

This washcloth has an image on it but I don't think my camera picked it up.
