November 6 and 13, 2009

Thanks you to everyone who writes, calls, and checks out our blog. We all appreciate it and send our thanks. Happy Thanksgiving!

This is our new mascot, Triscuit.

Here is Alison, with our new mascot, Triscuit. Alison brought him today and the ladies loved knitting with a dog on their laps. Triscuit was a real "therapy" dog. What could be better!

Here is Jamar, a volunteer, showing the ladies a lacy scarf and modeling a knitted sweater.

Above: a new knitter her first day. Below: this lady hasn't been here long and look at these even stitches.

Below: Leslie, our volunteer, showing us her latest projects.

Above: Amanda: our social work intern, working on her scarf. The ladies taught her!

This lady is making a shawl and also a scarf in bits and balls of different yarns.

Lucia, a volunteer who helps teach every week, is working on her own needlepoint project along with a Christmas stocking.

Lynn, who works here, continues to inspire us with her skinny scarves. Below, a three pom pom hat!

This will be a sweater with odds and ends of sock yarn.

This is a shrug - a gift for a mom.

Below: many gifts for family members.
