January 19- photos & work on blog set up in progress

Here is Leslie, one of our volunteers, showing us a beautiful scarf she has created.
Above: working on a bag. It is growing each week. Below: This bag is now felted but the photo isn't here yet. It turned out beautiful.

Above: Zelphia our volunteer and our client are showing us their Einstein coats.
Above: felted slippers. Below: socks in progress, and on circulars! This is our outpatient client who comes back to help the new knitters.

Above: a hat and scarf. Below: this is a project by Zelphia.

Above: Zelphia's socks. Below: Zelphia finished a beautiful lacy poncho with mohair. Zelphia is a volunteer who comes each week.

Our outpatient client above is working on socks. And below: Lucia, a volunteer, is showing us her daughter's "graduation" socks. Congratulations to her on her graduation.

Above: Michelle finished her scarf. Below: a client finished her hat and scarf and was thrilled to learn how to make fringe.

Above: a scarf by a new knitter. Below: one of our volunteers, Maryanne, who only comes when she can get off from work(we miss you), finished this little sweater for her niece.

Above: The washcloth is finished. For a first project, everyone knits a washcloth.

We all laugh when Yvette(who works here) comes into the group and wants to model everybody else's work.
I am presently working on the blog layout. Sorry if there is any inconvenience as I figure it all out . I am posting our newest group photos. So many beautiful projects: coats, socks, sweaters! And so many beautiful colors and combinations of yarns. More to be posted.........
