We received beautiful purple wool and our client added a special fun fur touch to her felted handbag!
This blanket is for her daughter! She put ties on it and it also becomes a cape!
Here is a first project washcloth! She moved on to purling and is now working on a ribbed scarf.

Hi! Thanks everyone for the kind wishes and support for our knitting program. With everyone's help we have lots of new knitters in recovery! We have had many clients complete residential this past month and move to outpatient and now we have many new residential clients and all are learning to knit. It is always fun to knit in the fall because of the need for scarves and hats and holiday gifts. It is thrilling to watch people learn the joy of being able to make something out of a ball of yarn. Many of our clients are learning about blogs through this knitting blog and they have such fun seeing their creations on the computer. We are always looking at the map to see how far and wide our blog has been!
