Lucia is modelling a sweater she made.
Here is a ribbon yarn scarf.
This wool came to us from someone's attic. It was old wool skeins turned into a beautiful felted bag that I didn't get to photograph yet. This is the "before."

Zelphia is knitting a shawl.
Our client won yarn in a basket at the knit out. She now uses the basket as her knitting basket.
A new client showed us proudly her very first knitted project.
Another "before" felted bag.
Look at Zelphia's beautiful scarf. The photo doesn't show how beautiful it is and how intricate.
This is a sweater being made by one of our clients. It is being sewn together this week.
A client turned an old wool sweater into a handbag.
Here is Toby sitting by some hats that I knitted and that I am quite proud of! I haven't knitted many hats so this is quite an accomplishment.
This is Liz with her daughter showing an afghan she is crocheting.OH NO! I forgot my camera for two weeks. These photos are from October 13 and I have some catching up to do with all that is being knitted/crocheted.
The word for the week, especially this week, is GRATITUDE. The clients were grateful for the knitting program and all of the fun and beautiful yarn they receive from donations from near and far. I try to get a written thank you out to everyone who sends us yarn but sometimes I get behind. Please know that we send our thanks and gratitude and it all gets knitted - every single piece of yarn gets used! There is so much creativity here.
We appreciate the books and magazines and hints and ideas and needles and everything that comes our way.
The ladies are getting into hats and next week we are having a "Mitten Workshop by Lucia."
