How Beautiful! Zelphia made this - she volunteers with us every week!
Here is Leslie with her coat of many colors - she is a volunteer.
Here is Toby, a Halloweeen pumpkin Yorkie, sneaking in again with two scarves I knitted.
A new knitter proudly displayed this scarf.

This is a knitted handbag with cable stitches designed by one of our clients with a handle from an old handbag.
this client has taught her daughter how to knit and
they knit together on visits (above and below).

beginning projects proudly displayed!
Lucia, our volunteer, had a mitten clinic today!

The words for the day: Mittens and Purling

Today Lucia worked with some of the women on knitting mittens - we called it a mitten workshop. Many of the women learned how to purl today as well. We had three outpatients join us today as volunteers. We also had Maryanne, our volunteer who can't come as often, back for the day. The ladies are working on presents for the holidays for their families.

Thanks to all who have donated yarn and needles to us. Everything that is sent to us is put to good use. Ends of yarn are so creatively used. I believe we have many budding designers among us!
