september 22 and 29, 2006

Our intern who just started is now a Knitter!

Lucia finished her sweater!

Toby modeling a scarf and a felted handbag that I finally fnished.

Here she is! So proud of the beautiful scarves she created above and below. She learned a new stitch from Leslie. Cast on an odd number and k1,yo,k2tog,yo,k2tog,yo to the end.

This is bamboo yarn from southwest trading company (above).

Zelphia made a beautiful shrug with recycled silk.
Our client just started last week and she is doing hats and scarves!
Jeannie came to teach the ladies a hat pattern on circular needles. She is modelling a scarf she made.

A teddy bear in progress on top of scarves and a knitted blanket.

The word of the day: HATS!

Jeannie came out to teach the ladies how to knit hats. Just about everyone seemed to want to learn how to knit a hat on circular needles. We went around the group circle showing what everyone is working on.

Thanks to all who brought yarn to us. I hope you see some of it being used in some of the photos I have captured. There is much more knitting going on than I can photograph.
