We had our knitting group/Holiday party today. Our volunteers came and it was nice talking and being together. The donations we have received have allowed our ladies to be exposed to all kinds of yarn. We have learned about different fibers, the differences in different sized needles, and sometimes during our knitting group, to a non knitter, it sounds as if we are talking a different language. We have loved hearing from so many people from so many places. Knitting and this blog has also been a geography lesson as we learn about different places around the world. As I read some of the notes, the ladies ask me to please thank each person. We are all touched by the kindnesses. From all of us: WE WISH YOU A HAPPY HOLIDAY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR.
