Jan 29, Feb 5, and Feb 12, 2009

Greetings from Snowy Philadelphia. We have been struggling here with an overwhelming snowstorm but through it all our ladies continue to knit and crochet. Thanks to everyone who follows our blog and who sends good wishes on to us. We so much appreciate hearing from people near and far. We have a lot of new knitters and graduates from residential who continue to knit while in outpatient. As we receive yarn it is happily knitted/crocheted into hats, scarves, blankets and mittens. There are so many photos I don't get to take but here are a few creations from the past week.

Above: this will be felted. Below: a new knitter showing her first struggle with knitting and how practice makes much better!

This client has combined different novelty yarns with cotton above for a shawl. Below is a scarf for her brother.

Above: a blanket with a mixture of yarns. Below, one of our therapists came to our knitting group on this snowy Friday!

Above: look at this scarf collection. And below: crocheting was her first language but she also learned how to knit here. Below: crochet and below that her knitting projects.

This lady is having fun combining different yarns.

More projects above and below.
