Aug 21, Aug 28, & Sept 4, 2009

The photos below are from Aug 21 and Aug 28. We went to a picnic at Neshaminy State Park on Sept. 4 and many of the ladies brought their knitting as we sat on the pavillion. I unfortunately forgot my camera! Our Interim House Graduation is coming up on Sept. 25. Our graduation is for our clients who have completed our residential program and who have continued coming for another six months in outpatient. I will post photos of our upcoming event!

This is a shrug our client made. She will have it together and ready to wear next week. Below is Leslie, our volunteer, showing us a new stitch she is using for a scarf.

Above: a shrug to be, below: This idea is for something I don't know how to explain by our socklady. I will post a photo when it is finished.

Jamar, our volunteer, is wearing the blouse she finished along with a sweater she knitted. Below: our client is finishing her blanket.

Zelphia, our volunteer, is showing the ladies her latest creations.

Our first socklady is teaching our newest socklady how to knit socks!!!

This is our volunteer, Jamar, who is now coming to inspire the ladies.

Our client finished the baby blanket that she was making for her child. Lucia our volunteer showed her the pattern and worked with her on it.

This is Leslie, our volunteer, who inspires the ladies each week as she shows them the projects she is working on.

This is is Lynn, she works here, and who is becoming an avid knitter thanks to our knitting program, the volunteers, and clients!

This is Jen who works here and who also knits with us. She brought her rescue puppy, Luckydog, in for a visit during our knitting group. Luckydog is very lucky to be with Jen and her family.
