Here are photos from this week's knitting group. We have many new knitters who learn so quickly! Way way back when knitting first started here at IH, I was the one teaching the group, NOW our ladies are ALL knitting and when the new admissions come in, the clients who have already learned teach the new admissions how to knit! And I am always thankful for our volunteers who come in each week with enthusiasm and ideas and they are always helping out the newest knitters.Above: a blanket turned into a poncho! Below, this lady has only been here two weeks.

Above: the crocheted blanket is almost done. Zelphia, our volunteer, is making a shrug. Her shrugs have inspired many of our knitters.

Here are three more blankets.

This is a first project. She was worried it wasn't "good enough" for the blog but we all think first projects are perfect just the way they are.

Above: a shawl, and below, fancy flip flops she adorned with fun fur.

Above a blanket and below a shawl.

This is a scarf and hat by one of our newest knitters.

This blanket is more than halfway done.
