"I rejoice with you to be a part of a group that comes together to work with their hands."

Below: a blanket of many yarns.

Above: our sweater (aka socklady) lady took some time off from her sweater knitting and worked on a lighter project. Below: a little drawstring bag.

Below: this is the bohemian scarf where you unravel the stitches down the sides to make fringe up and down. It looks way harder than it is!

Leslie our volunteer is showing the clients a sweater she finished while she was away on vacation.
Above: a first scarf by a new knitter. I love seeing first projects and the pride in the new knitter's eyes believing that they can do it!And, finally, this is Iris Opal, a dog rescued from a puppy mill that was shut down. We are waiting to see the sweaters that her new mom will be knitting for her.
And speaking of knitting sweaters for people and dogs, we also have pet therapy here at Interim House where our knitting can help out as well. Kristin (Pals for Life) and Erica (therapy dog owner) came with a kitten, bunny, and dog. We have a plan to make some blankets and cat toys for the animals.
