Our lemon hats are increasing and Guy, below, is modeling with a few of them!

We had two wonderful college students join us this year as part of their community service class. The ladies loved hearing about what they are doing in college and teaching them how to knit. They got to learn a bit about our program and the people in it. WE WILL MISS YOU TWO VERY MUCH. Please stay in touch!

Goodbye's are difficult. We will miss having our two college students join us each week. They continue to work on their hat projects though! We continue with our Hats off to Alex campaign. This is the first time many of our ladies have actually completed a project with knitting and purling so it is a challenge. As you can see from all of the hats we are making progress! We have all sizes, shapes, and designs! We have had many changes in our community with discharges and new admissions and have all levels of knitters. It is a wonderful experience to be working here with them in learning to knit. I wish everyone could see their faces when they first learn and when they complete a project!
