November 22 and 29th, 2006

Here is Maude, she works here and is now joining our knitting group again. Welcome back Maude!!!!!
This is Megan, a new volunteer, who is learning how to knit and the clients here have taught her.

Lucia with a scarf she is working on. Stay tuned for a mohair scarf one of our clients is now working on thanks to her inspiration.
These scarves are made by a client who loves odds and ends of pieces of yarn. The multi colored one is so beautiful - my photo doesn't capture it.
She finished her felted bag! She designed it and felted it herself. This lady is now in outpatient and will be joining our residential group for knitting each week.
Megan, a new volunteer and new knitter, just finished this shawl.
Everybody loves showing off their beautiful scarves and blankets!

Zelphia, our volunteer, just finished this sweater. She designed it!

This is Tiffany, she is a therapist here and has been knitting for only two weeks and finished her first scarf.

We have many clients who are busy making felted handbags!

The Words for These Two Weeks: One day at a Time

With the holidays, trying to get everything done is a challenge. I have many more photos to post for these two weeks but wanted to at least get this much on the blog. Thank you all who have sent yarn to us. It has come from so many places. We just received a package and the women were very touched when I read the letter enclosed to them. Thank you for all of your positive comments about what we are knitting and crocheting here. All of the yarn sent to us iss all mixed in together in these photos. I will try to add to this blog before the next one is due......................
